Comment: This is a view of the tomb itself. If you look closely you can see the trough in front of the door where a stone could be rolled. Unfortunately the picture is a bit grainy. We were having some trouble with our camera during this visit and some of the film got overexposed.
This is a shot of Golgotha from the Garden Tomb. Earlier we had a shot of it from the Old City ramparts. The Garden Tomb is just a couple of blocks north east of Damascus Gate. Apparently this site was discovered when an English officer named Gordon spotted the skull like cliff from atop Damascus Gate.
