Live Hebrew Classes - Rocine

Welcome to my Live Hebrew Classes.

In 2004/5 I recorded my Hebrew Video Lectures based on a textbook by Allen Ross. This course takes a slightly different approach following Bryan Rocine's textbook Learning Biblical Hebrew: A New Approach Using Discourse Analysis (see below).

This is a live course. We will meet in my private virtual world that I use for teaching Biblical Hebrew. This is also where our Hebrew Reading Group meets, which has been running for 10+ years.

Course details are below. If you are interested or have questions, contact me and we'll see if we can get some groups going. I hope to see you out and pass on the word!

Prerequisites

I would like you to have a basic acquaintance with the Hebrew consonants, vowels, and syllables before starting this course. By no means do you need to know this material perfectly - a basic acquaintance will do just fine. We'll be practicing these elements throughout the rest of the course and they will soon become second nature to you.

I've made the following apps and videos to teach Hebrew consonants, vowels, and syllables. These learning tools below can be completed in any order. Feel free to contact me if you need help with any of this.
